For my birthday my boyfriend took me to Nobu Tokyo. I've always wanted to go there so I was really excited! The restaurant is a near replica of the one in New York. It was a good idea that they moved to this new location as it is much more quiet and secluded and has an air of class. The first dish was scallop sashimi new style.
This is a whitefish Peru style. It was sooooo good!
Crispy Salmon Skin Salad.
Cabbage Steak with Truffles
The best dish of all, Robert Deniro's favorite, the fish dish. Can't remember the name!
The chocolate cake bento box.

A very light and refreshing wine jelly with mascarpone ice cream.
Everything about the restaurant was perfect. Yes it was slightly over-priced and it's not something you can do everyday unless you had money to burn. With a cocktail and two glasses of wine each, the dinner came out to over 30000yen. But it was so worth it! Thank you my sweet boyfriend. I love you so much!

happy belated b'day.
was blog hopping, nice blog! nice pic. and sweet bf. lucky u. :D
I've enjoyed looking at your pictures and reading your blog.
I'm curious about your bell's palsy. I was scrolling back and couldn't find when you first came down with it.
Your face looks great, btw. Not noticable at all. I remember meeting several people who've had bell's. All of them much older than you, also, all men.
I'm sure your trip to LA was pretty dominated by your pain. I too, have had my share of pain, but it is facial pain that will put me down. I don't have bell's, but some kind of periodic facial pain that will occur on both sides, but only one side at a time. I've learned to keep ahead of the pain when it comes on, before it gets out of control. (also, no paralysis)
My best wishes to you for your continued improvement!

HI FElix. Thank you so much for your kind comments. Yes my smile is back! I am so happy! I hope you are having a good start to the year.
Hello ah-bong. Thanks for the lovely comments. I look forward to hearing from you again.
askalesbian....
thank you for posting! My Bell's happened sometime in the first week of September of 2007 if I recall correctly. I am mostly recovered I think, but last week I went through a time where my affected side was acting up once again. My face looked the same, but on the inside, from the top of my scalp all the way down to my neck, the skin or muscles were tightening up. It was making me feel sick actually and I felt very tired again. Today I'm much better again and I go for a check-up next week. Hoping that it'S just part of the healing process. Good luck to you as well. By the way, I wonder what is causing all the pain in your case?
